Pastels are a very traditional media. They are soft chalk and are used on a colored surface. Pastels can show detail and offer a textural quality to the portrait. They are a wonderful choice for portraits of children, adults, and pets.
Watercolors
Watercolors have a fresh and lively look. They have soft translucent colors which are not reproducible in other mediums. They are a very good choice for portraits of homes and places and can also make a fine portrait of a loved one or a pet.
 Pencil
When a simple, elegant look is desired a pencil portrait is an excellent choice. A wide variety of tonal variations can create dramatic statements. Lines in pencil can add incredible interest when varied from delicate to bold. A pencil drawing is a good choice for people, pets, and places. A pencil drawing can blend easily with any décor.
Sizes
Portraits are available in two sizes, 8x10 image sizes, and 11x14 image sizes. They will come to you matted in your choice of cream or white with foam-core backing and will be ready to frame.
How can I get a portrait?
Portraits can be done from photographs and can be mailed directly to you. (see page on ordering). Portraits may also be done in person with additional sitting fees. Your beautiful portrait will be mailed to you 4-6 weeks after the photograph is received.
